Gisborne Recycled Water Plant Inlet Works required modification to increase hydraulic capacity, extend life expectancy, and reduce overflows. The required works had to be carried out during low flow periods with minimum disruption to the plant operation.

- Replacement of a section of the inlet pipework
- Modification to fowl air pipework
- Modification to inlet channel concrete structure
- New epoxy coating of channel bays
- Fabricate, supply and installation of new stainless-steel weirs
- Modification to handrails and gratings
- Supply and installation of new screw conveyor and wash compactor
- Replace existing manual bar screen with refurbished CST screw screen
- Relocation of existing penstock
- Relocate existing grit classifier.
- Modification and addition to existing Motor Control Centre onsite
- Addition of I/O’s to existing site PLC
- Update PLC as per control philosophy.
- Testing and commissioning of upgrade works
- Update plant O&M manuals, as built drawings and asset register.
