Here at ACE, we applaud our staff for sparking day to day discussions with one another on how men’s health outcomes can be improved. It’s a ‘mates looking after mates’ culture with general check in’s, blood pressure readings and a simple ‘Are you ok?’ that have implemented positive changes to colleague’s health and wellbeing. Statistics show men have a shorter life expectancy than women, have more accidents, experience more illnesses and are more likely to take their own lives so with this week being ‘International Men’s Health Week’ it is a timely reminder to keep the discussions going.
